I am an oral historian, researcher and teacher.
I believe everyone has stories to tell. I work with individuals and organisations to tell their stories through performance, publishing and film.
I am committed to nurturing and inspiring people’s imagination and creative expression. I am especially interested in how we can write and tell biographical stories in creative and empowering ways for personal and social transformation.
I trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art LAMDA, and the International School of Storytelling in East Sussex. I am a qualified primary and secondary school teacher, journalist and yoga teacher.
I have a Master of Arts Degree in Life History Research: Oral History and Life Story Documents, and Documentary Film Making from the University of Sussex, UK.
I have completed a PhD in Oral History and the justice system in collaboration with the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and National Life Stories at the British Library.
I was previously a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Law Department (2018-2019), and I am currently a Research Fellow at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies, University of Oxford.
