I perform storytelling programmes throughout the UK and internationally.
I perform myths, legends, wonder tales, folk tales and wisdom tales from different traditions and original biographical stories. I perform in theatres, schools, festivals, libraries, churches, synagogues, hospitals, museums and galleries. I tell stories to people of all ages and from different cultural backgrounds. My storytelling performances are dynamic and interactive and include percussion and song. I encourage audience participation with warmth and humour. I create performances to suit your specific interests and needs. |

Current and Recent Work
What is it to be human? What are we actually doing here? How do we overcome loss, sorrow and illness? Where did we come from and where are we going?
These are some of the questions we delved into at the 4th International Storytelling Festival, Sweden this Summer, August 2016.
The Festival’s title “Being Here” explored what exactly Being Here and Being Alive means to each of us in our lives at this time. I was invited to offer a storytelling performance, as well as workshop coaching sessions which culminated in participants' performing a collection of stories drawn from their own lives, wonder tales and folktales.

On November 29, 2014, I told a collection of folktales from different countries around the world as part of the Northwood Community Arts World Arts Fair. The programme included percussion, song and lots of lively audience participation.
I was invited to give a storytelling performance and facilitate a one-day workshop at the International Storytelling Festival in Sweden in August 2014. The themes and questions that the stories touched upon were: What makes us become more human? What opens and closes our hearts? What does it mean to live an authentic life?
I was invited to perform and lead a one-day workshop at the inaugural International Storytelling Festival in Sweden in August 2013. I told a selection of traditional stories that spoke to the themes of embodying our selves, coming to accept the past, and living our lives now - with creativity, vitality and love.
I was a storyteller in residence at the Brighton Dome and performed monthly for children aged 4 years upwards and families (2011-2013).
I worked with Authors In Schools (previously Children's Discovery Centre) London, which sends authors and storytellers to primary and secondary schools throughout the UK.
I toured Israel and Palestine with a group of international storytellers working with universities and community groups and performing at the Healing Words Storytelling Peace Festival in Galilee in May 2009 to foster dialogue between Israelis and Palestinians.
I recorded Banyan Deer and Other Stories, a CD of sacred stories, poetry and music with renowned musicians Kim Cunio and Heather Lee.
Further performances: Polka Theatre, Eastbourne House Arts London Buddhist Arts Centre, Brighton Festival (with Louise Coigley of Lis'n Tell), Woolloomooloo Festival, Emerson College, author Stephanie Dowrick’s monthly Interfaith Services, and for the National Literacy Trust UK.
