I will be offering a series of creative interpretation workshops, incorporating drama, spoken word, movement and song. Participants will be guided to devise a performance piece inspired by oral histories, which have been collected by a team of volunteer researchers.
The creative interpretation workshops are open to Northwood families, groups and individuals who would like to learn more about the past, be part of a theatre project and share their creativity and local history with the wider community.
The devising process will culminate in a celebratory performance event on June 21st, 2014 between 2-4pm at the former World War One hospital, St Johns Church, Hallowell Road, Northwood.
